Even government websites?

This site has been running since 2011 in harmony with members enjoying the freedom we have here away from external links or members being asked to research another site

As Fred says it doesn't suit everybody, but the one thing I will say is it is is fair...and free from outside interference, ads or invitations to trials, no big pharmaceutical company calling the shots

There is no spam and no internet nasties, it's kept safe for all members, so they know they can come here and post in the safety of a friendly environment

This site is unique and you won't find better factual information on the disease anywhere it is put together by Fred and also contains genuine sufferers experiences

As indeed yours is a good story but to keep it going you must abide by the rules .....that's not much to ask for access to this platform to discuss your experience

In it's current format yes, but Psoriasis Club was first started in May 2010 on a free hosting service. I'm pleased to say that we still have members from those early days that are still with us today (some keep a low profile but are still in touch), it was those people that we should be thanking as although I keep it going it was those people that encouraged me to go it alone. It's also the ones that came later who remain active that encourage me to keep it going.

EDIT: I've just read your other PM. And yes I do publish studies and news articles from reliable sources and I work very hard to make sure it is indeed reliable information. It's important to me to make sure that our readers are getting the correct information and a lot of work goes in to making sure it is reliable. That doesn't mean no other information is not valid, but we do protect our members and readers from false information and that is why we don't allow members to promote other websites.

Should you feel there is news or studies that we may have missed about the treatment of psoriasis then by all means run it past me and I will get our team to look into it."

Just so there is no misunderstanding. My confusion came from you posting studies from such govermental websites. I have no inkling to disobey the rules you set forth here. I just naturally assumed, if you could reference material from the same site that I referred to, it would be ok.

But now that you have made it quite clear, any studies or information posted elsewhere, even if they are peer reviewed, needs to meet with your approval. I will refrain from mentioning any websites, including the aforementioned governmental site I referenced to, where all the scientific studies are cataloged. As much as they would be relevant to my discussion, I have no need to disobey the rules you set forth. It was clearly, an understandable misunderstanding.

Should I feel the need to bring to your attention outside information or relevant studies that might be helpful to others here, I most likely would be hesitant in doing such, but thanks anyway.

I'm giving you the benefit of doubt (and to be honest it's only because I had thought that you may have some input that could help people with psoriasis) but you are getting very close to getting your account closed. I also reminded you that you are a guest of Psoriasis Club and I have asked you to show respect for others, I now feel you are not showing respect and have closed this thread.

For the moment you are still a member of Psoriasis Club and as such are welcome to start a new thread, but please be warned you are not doing very well to win me over.
