I felt exactly the same when I found this site 3 years ago, and we have to thank Fred who runs the site for his generosity providing us with this platform

You haven't met Fred yet as he has taken a few days off but I'm sure he will make himself known as soon as he comes back

We have a chatting thread in the off topic section if you just want general chat and it doesn't matter where you go on the site you will get a warm welcome  Thumb

Hi Linda,
Always possible that the stomach cramps are from the Acetretin. Everyone reacts differently. Maybe some of the Acetretin users can give a bit of feedback to you on their experiences.

Hi Linda and a warm welcome particularly to the Acitretin Gang Wave

I've been on Acitretin since April so I am just behind you. I'm on 30mg now, upped about a fortnight ago from 25mg. Yup I have the dreaded dry lips, going through sticks of Nivea lip balm like mad. I also have peeling hands and feet. It doesn't look pretty but it is better than the Ps. I have had IBS in the past it kicked of after a holiday in Turkey(I'm sure you can guess the primary cause Whistle ). I've not had any problems for a long while now and the Acitretin doesn't affect  my digestive tract. That doesn't mean that it is not causing yours to flair though. One of the first things you come to realise on here that the disease (Ps) and the treatments effect everyone differently. As for the hair I have heard of people loosing it or it thinning out but I can't for the life of me remember who it was or the outcome Blush .

So any questions ask away, apart from Grizzly Bear we are all house trained and very friendly. Check out the Off Topic area, there are a few amusing posts and the Bar is always open unless Jim is in there cleaning.

John!  Spank   Grizzly is also very friendly !  Angry
Ok sometimes it is necessary to call him to the order, Angel but in the end he is a big bear with a tiny heart.  Tongue

Oh, Linda, if you go Off Topic to the bar, don't let them talk you into the cellar! eek
