Hi and welcome  Welcome to the club
I have never used acetretin so can't advise from experience though many here will hopefully be able to
From what I've read here of other people's experiences it's not an uncommon side effect, and from what I read I believe it is temporary and will grow back. But I'll let others tell of their experiences.

You will find us a very friendly club and the members are very supportive and will always answer a question truthfully if you have one

Enjoy your time on this unique site and read of others experiences in the prescribed treatment boards

Good luck  Thumb

Hi numpty ( am I ok calling you that ) Blush
I just had a thought idea if you go to the search button at the top of the page and put in "hair loss" it will list all the posts that mention hair loss .... I just tried it and got a long list . You may have to read through the thread to get to the mention of hair loss But it could be worthwhile

Hello Linda,

Nice to meet you and welcome to psoriasis club.
Me neither I have experience with Acetretin.

I know that our member Kelly, kh924 uses Acetretin, and maybe you can ask her. I can vaguely remember that she once told something about her hair, but I am not sure again and is difficult to find in the myriads of posts on the forum.

Unfortunately I haven't seen her for a while, but you might send her a PM.
Tip: you need to have made 5 posts before being able to use the PM system.

Cheers,
Caroline

Welcome Linda!

I was on Acitretin, but didn't have a problem with hair loss (although my hair is thinning a bit and has been for a couple of years, but I believe that is due to aging)

I do believe that Kelly mentioned some problems with hair loss. Definitely mention it to your dermatologist!
