Hi everybody! Im not really crazy! Ive had psoriasis for 44 years ago. Ran the gamut of treatment. Just wanted to see what y'all do.

Well crazilady you will be made very here. You will find a lot of genuine people on here always willing to discuss and share our problems, we all have psoriasis in common and can get good advice on the latest medical advances and the latest trial results. We have an active membership and this is a happy friendly place to come. What treatment are you on for the psoriasis, and are you suffering at the moment ? Sorry I took so long to reply; but Im trying to figure all of this out and well, let's just say, I'm not quite so computer savvy! lol
I was in a study, Phase III for Brodalumab, until last May; it still has two years or more before it even gets to FDA! It was a miracle drug for me treating psoriasis!. Only problem is it didn't help psoriatic arthritis pain. Currently, I just went back on Enbrel for the pain. My skin is completely broken out and it's winter here and I couldn't be more miserable. Id rather live with the pain, than have this nasty skin! What you using?

Well you say you're not savvy you're getting around the site rather well ( even been to the bar) btw there's a drink waiting for you there ....
I hope the Enbrell kicks in nice and quick for you and relieves the pain My drug you won't get in the US it's called Fumaderm and to me it has worked miracles ... I have suffered all my adult life with psoriasis but the last three years in Fumaderm have been great im clear and am enjoying the summers now I can wear shorts and t shirts I'm sorry you are breaking out all over with psoriasis. I hope it starts clearing soon ... When did you start the Enbrell lets hope it does something for the skin soon Don't ever be miserable you will always be welcome here if your feeling low come and talk on the chatting thread someone will soon pick it up Thanks for finding us Jim

Welcome! I hope the Enbrel starts helping with your skin soon and you get some relief. I'm happy you've found your way here as there is lots of information and a lot of nice people. It's nice to have a place where people understand.

The important thing is that we stay in touch with the new drugs, know what works for us and share .

As for what we all do: You will find a good mix of people trying all sorts of treatments, some have their own threads which they update (when they remember) and some have journals in the members section too.
