Hi everybody! My name is Connor, and I am suffereing from psoriasis for more than 10 years. I tried different treatment methods, but the last year I use only natural methods.
Right now I am pretty sure that all medical drugs cure only the symptoms, this is not bad, but I want to find the reason and eleminate it.
I am happy to join Psoriasis Club, as I am 100% sure that in discussions we can find proper strategy to treat proriasis.

Hi Connor  Welcome to the club you will find a lot of information here on natural treatments, I hope you find the site useful in your search ... Alan has written a nice thread about his treatment and many others have tried various methods

I hope something will work for you.... if you don't find anything , get to see a dermatologist who should be able to control it for you

Thanks Jiml. Yes, I am reading Alan's post. I noticed that exclusion sugars and white wheat from my diet improve my skin condition. And I started taking turmeric + milk thistle + fish oil - and after 2 weeks I got very significant results. I will think about creating my thread where I will describe process.

Welcome Connor , there is more information on P and PsA on this site than anywhere I know or have come across plus any questions you ask are answered by inmates who have the same problems so you will get truthful answers. Fred does not allow adverts or "magic cures" by con merchants trying to get your money , we all have the same range of problems.
I think you need the section that explains what psoriasis is and where it comes from,it also explains how the different treatments work and why. I don't think that you really have a good understanding at this time.
All the best , just a a good look around and jump in, ask questions and hopefully you will find a way to progress for yourself.

Hi Connor  Wave

Welcome to the club!!

I guess I am lucky (I say that very loosely) by comparison, as I was only diagnosed with psoriasis in April this year so haven't been suffering as long as yourself or a lot of the people in the club but even in these few months have tried a whole range of different treatment methods......it's a minefield!!

The topics and discussions on here are brilliant and the people on here have helped me so much so I am sure you will get some good advice, support  and ideas too.

Hi Connor and welcome to the Club Wave

This forum is beyond anything I have yet to come across on the internet with regard to the amount of information and help available to sufferers of Psoriasis.
I wouldn't say that modern medicines only treat the symptoms of Psoriasis, but I can understand where you are coming from.
What I would say is that one treatment will not effect everybody in the same way and the same is true as trying to go down the natural route to controlling the disease.

It is a bit brutal to say, but this disease is for the rest of your life. At the moment, the best anything can do both medical or natural is to bring in some form of control. Sadly there is no cure.

But don't be disheartened although we are not medically trained we do all suffer from some form of Psoriasis or other and will be only too pleased to share our experiences with you.

hi Connor,

welcome to the club! And good luck with your natural treatments trials, I'll be following this with interest, so let us know if you start a thread on that.
Like JohnB says; it's for life... and natural treatments don't work for all, which is unfortunate.
Hope it works for you =]
