My name is Jenna, and it's great to meet you! I used to be on this site quite a lot back in 2018 when I was still in college and first starting my journey with psoriasis. I have had a pretty bad flare up over the last few months, and kept thinking about when I used to be on here every day, and how absolutely awesome and supportive the people are.

Over the last few years I bounced from Humira to Taltz, and just recently started using Cosentyx. I've had a nightmare of a time getting on this new medication due to change of insurance (hence the recent flare up), and would love to hear if anyone else has experience with Cosentyx.

I'd also love to hear about other people's psoriasis journeys, and maybe make some new friends  Blush

Hey Jenna !!!!!  Wave  Wave  Wave

Welcome back.  Big Grin

Certainly I/we remember you… and… we are still here. And in you being away, some new very nice members have joined us.
You will certainly meet them shortly.

Yes, there is experience over here about Cosentyx, no doubt they will tell you about them.

My Psoriatic Arthritis, is doing okay, with really a minimum on medication and bit of a change of lifestyle.

Anyway, great to hear from you again. Very nice to see the picture with you and the dog. You have grown up !!

Hi Jenna and welcome back  Bigarm how could we forget you. You made a big impact on the club when you were here daily while at college... So I for one am pleased that you remembered us and came back

Sorry to hear you have struggled with treatments for a while now but pleased to read you are on Cosentyx and I hope it works it's magic on you. I see Craig Raxyl had given you a link to his journal  and several other members have been on it and had good results it's always worth using Search  here to look up other Cosentyx posts
My psoriasis is good and hasn't flared for the last ten years despite a pretty horrendous year thanks to my medication which sadly isn't available where you are.
I look forward to reading more from you in the coming days  Wink  Thumb

Hello Jenna good to see you back, how did it all go at college ?

I was on Cosentyx for 3 years you can read my progress here: [Group Specific]

But the thing I will point out is that what works for one may not work for another, so it's all about playing with treatments to find what works best for you.

Nice dog you have there, I remember your thread about your pets [Group Specific] maybe you should add him/her there.  Smile

Hope to see more from you, good luck with Cosentyx.

Hi, Jenna.   Smile  I'm one of the new members here.  I've just read the thread that Fred provided the link to and so much enjoyed reading about Vermin and Plague while sipping my morning coffee.  You wrote in a way that made it easy to picture and imagine, and the photos are adorable.

You have new insurance and a new medicaton, now. I hope it works quickly for you and that you find relief soon.  Did you finish your degree?  What was the subject?

In 2017, I had the opportunity to travel from Washington state to Massachusetts a few times to study artistic roller skating with elite coaches in a little town called Whitman.  My host wanted to show me around Boston, but I just wanted to roller skate.   Rolleyes  Coming from the Pacific Northwest, I was astonished by the old houses and predominantly deciduous trees I saw in MA.

It's nice to meet you, Jenna.

Hi Craig, thank you! I'm so glad to hear Cosentyx has worked so well for you! I'll definitely be checking out your thread. I just had my first dose Friday, and feel like I've already started to see a minor change. I'm sure it'll be a slow process but I'm hopeful it'll help!  Blush

I've definitely thought of you all quite a few times over the years, and am so glad you're all still here!  Big Grin

I'm excited to read Craig's thread to hear about how Cosentyx has helped him! I'm not thrilled about the dosage requiring 2 injections at a time since I don't know if I'll ever get used to needles, but am optimistic that it'll work! I'll definitely be doing some digging here to hear about others' experiences as well  Blush

So great to hear that your psoriasis hasn't flared up in so long, and sorry to hear about the rough last year!

Hi Fred, great to talk to you again! College was pretty good! I graduated, and am now working in marketing. I did a few years teaching special ed right after school ended through covid too  Big Grin

That's my puppy, Ringo! I forgot I had created that thread! I still have Houdini, my bunny, but both of my rats passed a few years ago. Now I also have a black cat named Duncan, and 4 geckos (named Twig, Fern, Fossil and Pumpkin). The zoo has definitely expanded in the past few years hahah
