Yep that sums it up perfectly. Oh and I don't care what you look like either. Wave

Agreed with Fred, it does not matter how you look, it matters what you think and feel. What kind of person are you, that is what matters

8 Months wow time fly's by so quick I hope she is doing well. Smile

Sorry to here it's coming back again, but now the pregnancy is out of the way maybe your dermatologist will be able to sort you out (That is when you get to see them!)

Hanna thank you for taking the time to pop in and update your thread, I'm sure others are finding it useful. It's had 3700 hits. Thumb

What an informative and uplifting thread. I especially love how becoming a mum has shifted your focus away from your appearance somewhat. I used to worry too but now everyone and their milkman knows about my psoriasis (and surprising, once you start talking, just how many people have it in some form or another).

Over 3700 hits? Wow! Big Grin

Belated congratulations on your beautiful baby girl. Clap

Thank you bright eyes

I really hope others are finding this some use.

As for derm, I'm seeing them on the 22nd July ..........
I'm hoping more sun and sun cream might do the trick before then!!!
I'm thinking of just asking for UVB again as ve decided to continue breast feeding until she is a year in the hope that it may help reduce the risk of her getting psoriasis although I don't think there's any studies on it?!?! But if it helps develope a baby's immune system there must be some truth in it Thumb

Detention for me for a very poor attendance Tongue

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I had a course of UVB, 20 sessions in total I got to a point I felt comfy with and after some chat we called it a day. The more sessions I can save the better.

I finished the UVB around 6 weeks ago, and sadly already I'm having patches reappear Confused

So why am I updating this thread? Well turns out I'm waiting for a scan to see how number 2 is getting on!!!
I currently don't feel things are going well due to lack of the normal early pregnancy side affects.
This is another reason why we called it a day with my UVB just in case I need to be seen again as my first bump caused a flare covering 90% of me.

But every pregnancy is different, as I am told.

So what will happen with my skin this time around? I shall try my hardest to keep this updated, but for now my biggest hurdle feels like my scan in just over a week.

Number 2 !!!
How lovely. My congratulations !

Certainly you have been away quite long, have been missing you. But we are still here, even more of us, with some good posters like Jim, Sue and Brighteyes, and of course good old Fred keeps on going.

So I was right Confused
Things haven't gone well at all, the start of bleeding and a scan confirmed my fears.
I now have a very rough few weeks ahead I'm just hoping its over with soon.

As for my skin within hours of finding out my armpits currently my most affect area have flared even more becoming so itchy I've made them weep.

I wouldn't be surprised if I flare all over from the stress of what I am now faced with.

A very hard time now
