Thanks for the congrats messages .... I'm still finding me feet and working out what Evelynns routine is (when she isn't suffering from wind!!!)

Now my psoriasis, it is looking better but all clearing has slowed massively although slightly better now then when pregnant.

I think the stay in hospital had a big part in some areas clearing as I had no stress couldn't worry about anything and if I needed and help I just pressed a button Wink

Hopefully as I find my feet with being a new mum things will continue to improve.

Nope not given anything, just used my moisturiser after a shower (epaderm)
I have access to quick appointment if I need it, but I'm going to wait till after 6 weeks to let everything settle down Smile

When I was in hospital they used to give me nice warm baths with Wheat Starch (Lovely) Smile

Just an update,

I'm still not clear but my tummy has almost cleared along with my chest and my arms have calmed down a lot my legs are still total psoriasis but not to flakey! I will try and get some pics up soonish Smile

Thanks to my psoriasis I have no stretch marks, as I thought the stretching just turned to psoriasis.

I am now going with just ignore it and it might go away, it always seems to work with my back!!!
Also I think things are improving for me as I don't ave much time now to think about my skin and rarely scratch it, also I'm breast feeding and its very time consuming and all the I've Evelynn is feeding I can't do anything Smile

I'm hoping as always things get better and better!

Hello Hanna, good to see you again.

Thanks for keeping this thread updated, I'm sure it will be of help to others. Thumb

Evelynn keeping you busy and having got the pregnancy out of the way, could be part of the reason you're clearing. Mind on other things syndrome. Wink

I guess breast feeding can be a very relaxing and calming occupation. Big Grin

Thought I would give another update,

I'm still breastfeeding and doing some research I found out that breastfeeding releases stress relieving hormone Thumb although I would be telling lies if I said I didn't find feeding her this way easy!!!

My skin has reached what I consider to be manageable for me, both lower legs 90% covered and arms around 60-70% my back stomache and chest have all pretty much cleared now! And the affected areas are no where near as flakey as what they have been.

The other thing I found today was by having a baby means I worry less about me and my appearence ..... I went swimming today .... Yes I found a quiet pool, but I was so focused on my girl I wouldn't of even noticed if anyone looked or stared Smile and so a lot of ladies where to busy coo-ing over her to notice me!!!

My only issue I have now is working out how to get round wearing roller boots without the skin from my ankles becoming irratated and sore!!!

Another update,

My skin has been playing up a bit more lately Confused I had a cold which also gave me sore throat and my skin has been playing up since then!

My face is getting patchy again, but I'm trying hard to fight it off with Vaseline.

I'm currently trying extremely hard to not let my psoriasis ruin my relationship with Evelynn, I've been swimming a few more times and have made some new friends who I have spoken to them about my skin in a light way so hopefully they get to know me first more before my skin!

I still can't believe the difference in my skin during pregnancy and after, I do regret letting it 'win' and getting me down through my pregnancy and worrying what I would look like in photos etc

I must remember that my daughter loves me and doesn't care what I look like, as to her I am just her mum and the way I look is totally normal to her and she will hopefully grow up being a more open minded girl!
