Have you got any zinc cream? It’s the only thing that touched the infuriating itch when I got bad. I don’t remember antihistamines ever working for me but I do know that the modern ones that are designed to make you less drowsy are not as effective as the old ones. Not sure what you got?
Wish I could help more..

Zinc Oxide seems to take the edge off a little. But I'll take it. $16.84 later and a box of old style antihistamines and no real results. *sigh*

So....had a different experience. Unique. The build up in my belly button has gotten severe in terms of plaque build up. I didn't even touch the plaque there and this morning I found it bleeding all on it's own. So I woke up to the area around my belly button had bled through my PJ bottom, my underwear and one spot on my PJ top. So I had to treat it and put them all in the wash after only one night! Grrrr.....

Can't wait to hear what the derm will say about that!

Oh dear that’s horrible - perhaps someone will end up putting you on prednisone for a short while which I where I got to when it all went crazy.

Going to talk to my pharmacist first for anything they might suggest. If I don't get an answer I like, I will go see a walk in doctor. I go to see my new GP for our first in person visit. Should be interesting.

Psoriasis in the belly button  Scare

I can't even stand looking at someone playing with their belly button!!!!   There's polysporin 1% corticosteiroid...OTC....I would put a bit on a Qtip and squirm to put it on!

Once that is done once, twice or three times until it's under control a bit, coconut oil on a QTip and more squirming!

Willing to try anything once. Twice if I like it! LOL now worries about me squirming g. It would take a lot for this old girl to be squeamish about anything.

So, let's see if hormone treatments affect my psoriasis in any way. I am sure that this position has happened to someone else, somewhere else, but would seem unique here. Will keep you all updated on my psoriasis if there is any changes. I am also a week away from seeing a derm....one that I am not fond of, but let's see what happens. And let's see how he reacts when he finds out he will also be doing laser hair removal on my body as well. Should be interesting.
