I did 3 years of female hormone injections after my prostate cancer treatment, it didn't make any difference to my psoriasis so you should be ok I think

Yes, I read that this was a treatment for certain kinds of cancers, usually prostate cancer. Do I have a real concern that the estrogen will harm me? I am thinking it will be all good. Will the estrogen cause a positive result for my psoriasis? We shall see. I know the estrogen will soften my skin. I won't have to shave as much. My body smells will change. I may not sweat as much, I have read. Is that true? Again, we shall see. All of this will be so exciting and wonderful amongst the pains I will suffer as a result of the hormone therapy as the body fat changes places in my body. I am excited about my future.

Looking back on my history I see my injections were prostap not estrogen but the same as they give women with breast cancer to stop estrogen feeding the cancer so no doubt the side effects may be different
I did notice on mine that it killed my sex drive but was only for the duration of the therapy thankfully
Hope all goes well for you

tomorrow! Tomorrow! I'll love ya tomorrow! It's only a day away!

Yes, tomorrow I will finally see the derm. Been waiting for what seems an eternity for this. 6 months and 10 days ago I got the appointment. I never woulda thought I would have been through so much in that time. So looking forward to having the Doc tell me about a treatment plan that doesn't include steroidal creams and ointments. I just want to see progress. Wish me luck!

All the very best tomorrow Sheila.
I would strongly suggest you take a pad full of questions for you to ask coz of you are anything like me, you will have forgotten them all by the time you get to see your Dermy.
I am not sure if your Covid restrictions will allow but I have always taken someone in with me to see the Dermy. It always helps to have someone in your corner that can see how you are struggling and put this across. It also helps afterwards, 2 memories are far better than one.
