I think I will be getting it........ providing the Dermy Doc says it will be ok with the meds (immuno surpressors).

My mum is getting the Pfizer jab next Tuesday.

You'll have to tell us how she said it went.  (Edit: And since a normal response might be "I don't "have" to tell you anything   perhaps I should word it nicer....)

Please keep us updated if she mentions how it went for her.  (Better?  )

I really hope this is the answer to getting the world back to some degree of normal.

I have changed my vote from a definite "No" to a "Not Sure" after reading about "Caroline Coster from Bedford UK"

She had her hands and feet amputated after coronavirus led to pneumonia, which then caused sepsis. 

There is a video on BBC news, it's an eye opener for sure. What an amazing lady.

My mum had her covid jab yesterday.
It is the Pfizer biotech variant. She has reported nothing of any note aside from a small bruise at the injection site. The actual injection she never felt.

Next one in 2 weeks.

Wish they’d hurry it along a bit.. and approve the Oxford vaccine and get on with it.

Yes TL I hope it starts to get approving the other vaccines to speed things up
We have just been placed in Tier4 which is virtual lockdown

I think that most of the UK population will end up with with the Oxford. It's what we have bought most of. I would prefer it myself.

Yes I would prefer the Oxford vaccine but I'll take whatever I'm offered first

The elderly started recieiving Pfizer last week  and we've had the Moderna vaccine approved here yesterday!

Unfortunately, it's still a long way to go before the majority of the population gets vaccinated and trials are still ongoing for children under 16.
