The idea of a holiday is to get away from it all and relax, I told you to use that old caravan.

Maybe your painting will be done quickly, and then you can rest.  Two weeks left of vacation sounds nice!  I'm glad you will have time of work . . . but, hm,    does our KatT know how to rest?

Painting is all done.  New IKEA cabinet put together (took us 8 hours and a lot of @#!&?!).

I will try to rest and enjoy the remainder of my holidays.

But IKEA is always amazingly simple… at least that is what my OH says… but his is very handy.

All that's done.  The kitchen has the new cabinet.  It was Hubby's idea in the first place . . . so . . . he owes you a few restful dinners where he does all the cooking and cleaning up in the kitchen with the new cabinet.  That way he can really, truly enjoy and experience the new cabinet.

Surely he does most of the cooking anyway?
If not how does he get away with it, we could do with a couple of new cabinets in the kitchen if he has time now he knows how to do it.

Absolutely great idea    I just need to supervise the cooking....I do want to live a little longer!

No! He does not do most of the cooking unfortunately    he's good at making breakfast and he's on BBQ duty..., oh  and I forgot potato peeling....he's an expert at that!

That being said, he did surprise me once with a chicken recipe from Gordon Ramsay....he must have watched the you tube video over and over lol   It was delicious.......now how to get him to do that more often   

I told my hubby he had a side job offer of putting up kitchen cabinets in the UK    He respectfully declined!
