I'm also following...
The tomatoes are recognisable, my sister also has a reaction on them. Mostly her face get a lot of small red dots so it seems as if her face is becoming reddish. Paprika's have the same effect.

Hello Jiml and Caroline. The reaction I had to tomatoes was the same as almond milk. My "problems areas" (eyelids, triangle next to my eye and the mound under my left eye) all became inflamed, itchy and red. They have since de-flammed (lol), the redness is almost gone and peeling happened this morning.
I have now started taking probiotics with my lunch, as at that time I also have Bragg's apple cider vinegar in my salad dressings, and I am also adding grass-fed unsweetened yogurt (but I add stevia and lemon juice to make my own lemon yogurt), both of which (acv and yogurt) also have probiotics. So I am taking my probiotics at lunch, while having my antifungals early in the am and also right before bedtime, so maximum time is between them ensuring there is no cancellation of their benefits. I have also thought of trying coconut milk in the am as a substitute for almond milk. I does not have the necessary calcium content that almond milk has, so I will still have to take a calcium supplement. I will monitor my face to see if any reaction occurs with coconut milk consumption. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks for reading and have an awesome day.

Hello everyone. I have had coconut milk twice in the past 3 day with no reaction, and I will wait till two days from now to try again. Hopefully I can add it to my daily intake as I need the calories. I have been weighing in at 107 pounds in the past few days.
My problem areas have recovered from the tomato incident that happened last Saturday. The redness and inflation have all gone, and the skin in those areas has peeled of, with clear skin now showing. I have a good baseline to see if anything should arise from the coconut milk. I don't seem to be having any problems with die-off, since I am now on probiotics and anitfungals, that could be a problem. Thanks for reading and have a great day.

Hello A and everyone,
As of this morning, my psoriasis flare has cleared. The last step was peeling, and that happened yesterday. The area where I had thickness was the triangle next to my eye, and after all the peeling, it is now gone. As for the other areas, there was swelling, redness, itchiness and peeling. Those are now all gone. My face and hairline are now clear. So, the last time I ate tomatoes was last Saturday, therefore it took 7 days to recover. On a side note, as I mentioned earlier, I have gotten used to not eating rice, pasta, potatoes for side dishes. Cauliflower, zucchini, asparagus, burssels sprouts are now my favorite side. Roasting cauliflower with onions and olive oil is yummy. Adding a good tablespoon of butter and herbs like dill, rosemary, thyme and herbs de provenance to sauteed zucchini, asparagus and brussels sprouts makes them quite tasty. No die-off symptoms so far, keeping my fingers crossed. Weight this morning was 108 pounds. My weight lifting has fillied in some of the hollowness in my arms. Hopefully in another month or so, the hollowness will be filled with muscle instead. Thanks for reading and have a great day.

Hello everyone. A brief update here. Doing well on keeping the psoriasis at bay. I have added coconut milk, grass-fed yogurt and coconut oil to my daily intake and have not had a reaction so far to any of them, which I hope continues as I need the extra calories and benefits from their probiotics and antifungal atributes.
On a side note, I have noticed that my chronically runny nose has ceased being runny. I would always have to have tissues on hand to tend to my runny nose, and my nose was also sore/raw from constantly having to wipe it. My runny/raw nose is no more. Must be from the grains that I have removed from my diet. I have been using a large quantity of grass-fed butter since I have been on my candida/leaky gut/psoriasis diet, so it can be the dairy aspect. Its probably one of the grains, I am guessing wheat. Additionally, I used to get headaches quite often, and have had only one since starting this diet. Hmmm, interesting. Must also be diet related. Thanks for reading, and have a great day.

Yes, very interesting reading.
Could it also be that you have a specific gluten allergy, just because your sniffy nose stopped after quitting the grains? Mm, that does not englighten the tomato reaction, but anyway.. |
