Worst part of the body to get psoriasis

That is a tough one, Fred. Hands and feet can obviously have a big impact, but as my hands and feet have never been badly covered I cannot speak from experience. So scalp wins my vote. I could never clear the flakes from my hair and a very hard place to put anything on. Very messy and annoying!

I wonder if one of the reasons I have never had scalp psoriasis is that I have resembled a billiard ball since I was about 21

It is very difficult for Psoriasis to get a grip on a billiard ball ....

Good to see people voting, it's still early days but I'm surprised not to see hands yet. I remember feeling very uncomfortable when I had to shake hands with the top boss that had come over from Europe to visit our depot. But it went well in the end as I was outside loading with my gloves on, so I just removed one glove and gave a quick hand shake.

As I have PPP I only really get/got P on the palms of my hands and soles of feet, so its hands for me definitely - the complete embarrassment of anyone seeing my hands for me was too horrendous and really upsetting!!  Not only shaking hands but the biggest one for me was collecting change or a receipt from a shop/store cashier, you know when you hold you hand out to receive it.....!!  

That said, wasn't happy with it on my feet either but they could be hidden to a large degree!

Yes that was my thinking with the hands, it must be very awkward to hold out your hand for change especially with pustular psoriasis.

Oh Fred, I was getting so embarrassed and upset    If anyone came into my office, I immediately hid my hands under the desk!!

Luckily, for now, I have had total clearance since September, so happy days for the time being.....

Feet were a real pain as even driving,which I always did a lot of, was painful and also with driving a lot my back and buttocks were not exactly good with the continual rubbing on the driving seat but I think it was worse of all when I was covered just about everywhere and had to go in hospital.

Oh yes the feet I remember slapping loads of horrible creams on my feet. I think it actually made them worse for driving as they felt all slippy and clammy.

I voted for ‘undercarriage’. I’ve had psoriasis in every part of my body, but that and face were the worse.

The patches on my feet have never been too bad, more mildly itchy than sore. The face and genitals are quite sore though. The face can’t be covered so gets no protection, and trying to cover it in make up only hurt more.

The armpits are another sore one, you can’t avoid irriatating it in my experience.

I never thought about make up and it's effect on psoriasis, but now you mention it I would image it is difficult to find the right thing. I would imagine shaving for men would irritate it too, but I've always had a beard so wouldn't know.

I always found my face worse at this time of the year with the cold and lack of sunlight.

I have had psoriasis literally everywhere now and chest/undercarriage win hands down.  Pure agony.  Plus, when you are covered with plaque psoriasis from head to toe, opinions don’t seem to matter, lol!  Fortunately, my husband still finds me beautiful.
