Which bio cleared you the fastest?

So, read some experiences here, but could not finder the answer I wanted; Which bio cleared you the fastest?

I don't know which one i Will start or if I have to go through a certain protocol again, but I just would like to know

can't help  you there, Stelara is slow for me, third injection coming up on the 30th of january. fist one mid oktober, second; end oktober. But I did google and found it's slow for many. Thinning yep, gone, no. 
Humira; nightmare. Other 2 you mention, no experience.

I wouldn't worry about it too much and see what the doctors say. If you fail on Humira, you'll likely fail soon, I've heard people say so on this forum.

Tnx, your reply does help Artemie    I thought that Stelara was indeed slow and ypu just confirmed that. I hope I’ll have a say in which bio I can start and I really want one that works quick as I am really tired from the itching which only gets worse in winter (thank you, heaters   )

I think they will start me on humira, but the yearly costst of Taltz and Cosentyx is about the same as humira, so I hope I can weigh in the argument of fast effectiveness againt humira and stelara...

I can't help Maryam as I haven't progressed to biologicals yet ....as the Fumaderm just keeps on working for me
I'm sure though that some on Stelara have had fast results

Oh that is a difficult one.

First off I think clearing psoriasis, but for me it's always been about clearing psoriatic arthritis that is the priority.

#1 Remicade: This worked very quickly for me, but it was my first and I was desperate. Unfortunately I had a reaction to it.

#2 Enbrel: This was excellent for psoriatic arthritis and I had a worked very quick, but although great for psoriatic arthritis the psoriasis came back with a vengeance/

#3 Humira: This worked great but as I was almost clear it was difficult to say how fast it worked. But I didn't stay on it long as I ended up in hospital for a week with another reaction and had to come off it.

#4 Stelara: Very fast at getting the psoriasis down, but never really got  on top of the psoriatic arthritis. I made ove 6 years with that one.

#5 Cosentyx: Wow this stuff worked so fast it was amazing. But although it still works great for psoriatic arthritis, I'm starting to find it's not going to keep the psoriasis down and it won't be long before I try Taltz.

I would say that is why you can't find an answer as to what works fastest. We are all different and the state of the psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis at the time of starting will have a big influence over our thinking of which worked the fastest.  

Remicade gave me my life back very quickly. Stelara worked very fast and made me feel better for a long time. Cosentyx rid me of psoriatic arthritis for the first time and worked really fast.

It's difficult to answer your poll but I'll vote for Stelara and Coentyx. If I could get a mix of the two I would be very happy.

Bit of a theme there Fred, either good for P or for Psa but not brill for both..

I have only tried two, Humira which didn't help my skin, and Stelara which cleared me within a couple of weeks.

A bit difficult as I have only had Stelara but that I thought was reasonably quick as by the time I had the third injection at 12 weeks I was almost clear bearing in mind that I was really bad before I started taking it with P just about everywhere . The only disappointment is that it's not that good on my PsA.

Tnx all, I found an interesting article which compaired the 1st, 2nd and 3th generation bio’s and it seems that the ones targeting IL17 have a faster onset of action. They also “aim higher”. Apperently the first two generations were aimed for 75% reduction as demand, whereas the 3th they want to aim at 100%, which is really interesting

IL-17 is the Psoriatic Arthritis interleukine, i am simplifyiing now. But you can expect the best working for your PsA, which doesn’t mean it does not work for your Psoriasis, but you can expect less. There is quite some experience now on the forum that suggests this.

IL-17 is the Psoriatic Arthritis interleukine, i am simplifyiing now. But you can expect the best working for your PsA, which doesn’t mean it does not work for your Psoriasis, but you can expect less. There is quite some experience now on the forum that suggests this.

That is indeed a bit simplefied, especially when you read that the makers of these bio’s aimed for clearance for the skin also. And a lot of people who start a IL17 bio see results within two weeks. The pathways of these interleukines are very complicated and somehow connected, apperently tremfya was developed because they’ve found that blocking IL12 besides IL23 is obsulete. 

I am really curious if they will find one interleukine in specific
