I can tell you that if you are going to get a flu shot DO NOT DUE that the same month as your Stelara injection. I no longer take Stelara as it stopped working for me, however I made the mistake of getting the flu shot a few days after my Stelara injection big mistake. I was out for almost a week..

Everybody is different but the Stelara after 5 years ish is still working fine for me and I have a flu shot every year and I have had no problems at all. Some strains of flu are not covered as they mutate as it goes along so nothing is 100%.

hi all, time for a quick update I'd say.

All is well, still have some small spots of P, mostly on my bum. Bummer, but sooooo much better and I feel I can wear skirts =]

Survived the flu season, suffered from it in October, February AND march. Bummer too. Have lots of plegmh in back of throat, but that's not a problem, only I wheeze a bit when going to bed.

Also I'm totally exhausted some days. But not all =] Could be the P itself ofcourse, it's been known to do that. It is sortof stopping me to go to Yoga or be very active, but it's doable (skirts Smile

About the flu shot, could be related: 30th of june I asked my dermatologist what to do when I might need to get a wisdom tooth out that's under the skin... I thought I'd  have to go on antibiotics preventively but she told me all I need to take care of is not have this surgery right after taking a Stelera shot.

so all in all all is well =]
