Welcome Tinkerbell Wave

I've never heard of those tablets I'm afraid so I can't comment on them.

I was on hydromol things, they were OK to a point but for a really good moisturiser, use biona virgin coconut oil, it's brilliant for psoriasis Thumb

Hi again Tinkerbell try using Coconut oil as a moisturiser on your hands it easily soaks in and is used by lots of members here , don't buy a cheap one go for a virgin coconut oil

As for what medications are members on, as Fred has advised check out their posts as most that post tell of the medication they are on and how they are working

You will find no mention of either of the tablets you have been prescribed here , but lots of information on the more traditional treatments I have added some links here for you in blue
I myself use Fumaderm Fumaderm
There are others on Acetretin. Acitretin and methotrexate Methotrexate

Which you would have to fail on before the dermatologist can move you on to biological treatments Biological Treatments For Psoriasis
I hope you get put on something to give you relief

Unscrew the lid.

Remove the seal

Insert finger into the coconut oil (beware, it feels solid but soon melts)

Then, the most complicated part..........rub into plaques and any part of your skin that has psoriasis......good luck and feel the relief as it soothes Thumb

you can apply Coconut Oil any time you want to relive the dryness

If you are looking for something that sinks in for during the day,  then I use Dermol 500
it has been a lifesaver for my hands  (I have Palmar Plantar P) as I do a lot of keyboard work and this soaks in and in non greasy.
It also anit-microbial property and can be used a s a soap substitute.

500ml is about £11 in the Chemist but can be got on prescription

Once or twice a day especially after your shower/bath. No it doesn't sting, but can tingle a little if you have been picking the psoriasis and made it bleed.

You can read more about it here: Coconut Oil
