I know we have charities leaving bags for our unwanted clothes... I won't put anything in them as most of them are collected by limited companies and the small print always says they donate up to £10 a ton to the charity .... Peanuts
Oh Jim you must not get me on these charity things. I will close in saying that I know by my own experience that a lot of genuine honest peoples money has been spent in places it shouldn't have been spent. Those people that donated a few quid to help would be guted to know that their £5 is propping up a bar or even a house. Yes a house, I know of a well known charity that paid new oak beams in a certain persons house. I know of scams involving selling on old office chairs cheap and getting new ones paid for by donations.
I was in haulage a long time and I've seen a lot I didn't like from charities, hence I no longer donate to any charity and will never promote them on Psoriasis Club.
