So hey, im lori and im new to this site! ?
Im 29 and have suffered with psoriasis since i was 12 ?
Believe it or not i didnt realise till recently how common it was as i dont know anyone that has psorisis so havent really spoken to other sufferers! So please bare with me ?

I was so happy to find this site after I was diagnosed. You're right in that it seems there are a lot of people with psoriasis, but I didn't know any personally either until coming here.

I'm glad you found us. It is a disease that most try to hide so most of us don't realise just how common it is. So it's nice when you find this club where we are all sufferers sharing experiences and supporting each other through bad times

As has been said we are a very friendly bunch, we also have a very active off topic section which you must feel free to pop into ... There is plenty there from a chatting thread to help break the ice, and countless other threads mostly light hearted ......so join us over there sometime

It is a nice place to be, with all nice people. Best is to just dive in, and you will find that there are some quite sensible people on the board  
No, that is just kidding. We all have a serious and a nonsense side. With the one side we all created this site with a wealth of information on psoriasis, I think it must be the best site on the world. And our other side we show in the Off topics for chit chat, drinks, pictures, jokes and other funny things.

Welcome to the club , don't worry if the inmates seem a bit nutty it's because that's what they are apart from some of us that is !!
You will find that we all know what P and PsA means and how it effects your life so any question can usually be answered by people who have gone through what you are going through so they can tell you what's what not by some NHS worker who have no idea really what it's like to have the problem. There is info on just about any treatment you can think of so just join in .

Yes Lori do come and chat with us... We don't have all the answers but we are always happy to talk about psoriasis, the treatments and the psychological effect the disease has on us.
I have found this a great place to meet people with psoriasis, and been able to air my fears and learn from other members experiences .
You will find that members are very supportive and in no way judgemental,
You won't see any spam it's usually stamped out before it gets to the boards , in fact there are no internet nasties here at all
