Then not taking any at the weekend It hasn't affected my psoriasis. The thinking is with taking the dose constantly your body gets used to it and it may stop working at some point but by interfering with the regularity of the dose.... The efficacy should be improved .... I only started this over Christmas .... I will let you know if it makes a difference ... I have had a couple of strong flushes since the weekend ... Which is usually a good sign I'm not expecting any change in my psoriasis as I'm almost clear... I'm doing this so hopefully I can stay on it longer

Its called Hydromol, and was something given to me by my GP many months back. Hydromol is a moisturiser often given for dry skin problems. Ingridents: Liquid Paraffin Isopropyl Myristate Sodium Lactate Solution Cetomacrogol Emulsifying Wax (contains cetostearyl alcohol) Myristyl Myristate Macrogol Cetostearyl Ether Hydroxybenzoates (Parabens) Phenoxyethanol Purified Water. Parabens what I found out !

Hi Bassman,
Yes, it sounds more like an allergic reaction than psoriasis. Glutathione is anti-inflammatory, so it could reduce the redness. The Selsun you can apply sparingly to the spots weekly as directed. Brazil nuts are good in their own right, so if they help you it is a bonus. Cheers, Bill

I looked into the risk of taking MTX compared with DMF. It would be far less risky to ditch your car and start riding a motorcycle: The risk of a potentially fatal episode for long term MTX users is about 1/50. I wont be taking MTX or getting my motorcycle licence any time soon.

You are much safer on a motorcycle where you are.
