about me - today was my first STelara injection and i am a bit afraid ....

dont know what to tell you , but i gonna send some post here about how it works with me ...

Hi Joker and    to the forum I hope you will enjoy your time here with us we are always pleased to hear the experience of new members, so I will be pleased to follow your journey on stelara. You will get a lot of support here we have several members using Stelara and I'm sure you will hear from them soon, although a lot of the European members are offline at the moment
But I can assure you that you have nothing to fear from Stelara it is a good drug and Fred who runs this site has been on it for several years ..., but I will let him explain himself

I'm always interested to read people's experience with the different medications for P, as I myself have a hospital appointment in September so hopefully I'll get something decent to help with mine other than creams.

Hi Joker ,welcome to the site. Most of the inmates on here are a little bit nutty but don't worry as they do not bite (or most of them don't) .
There is a massive pool of experience regarding P and PsA so anything you want to know just ask.
I have been on 90mg of Stelara for a couple of years now and for me it's been fantastic ,do not be afraid as it is one of the best treatments for P that you can get as far as I am concerned. Nothing seem to happen until I had the second injection and by the time I had the third one at 12 weeks I was almost clear and I had very bad P. Everyone does react in a different way and what works for one does not necessarily  have the same effect on someone else but the only side effect I have had is a little tired for a few days after the injection.
Best of luck but I think that you will be great on Stelara.
By the way I used to work for a Danish company for nearly 20 years , I have not been to Denmark since the late 90s but I thought it was agreat place.

Hello Joker   to Psoriasis Club.

Don't be afraid of Stelara you are going to be amazed by the results, if it's the side effects you are worried about don't be. Like Dave said it's probably the best Bio out there at the moment and tiredness for a while is about all you will get, I've been on it 5 years now and have had a few ups and downs but all in all it's been the best thing ever for me.

It's a good idea to have your own thread in Prescribed Treatments For Psoriasis as you will be able to monitor your results and your input could also help others, I have two threads about my time on Stelara if you want to be bored but they have helped me a lot.

Stelara 16 Months On. This one is now locked.

Stelara round two This one I keep updated.

I look forward to watching your progress, good luck with Stelara.
