I think that young women are more susceptible. There was an alert put out in January. My hypothesis is that GSH depletion is the cause, hence my belief in the protective effects of cysteine or nac supplementation. With all the research I hope something useful is found.

Cheers,

Dear All friends and members!

It's been a long time. All is working well, I cannot even recall how long it is and still works! Psorinovo. I am taking in a pattern now 1x240 one day, another 2x240 and 3x240. Taking less starts showing me small spots, so I know I still have it... when its sunny I am taking 1x240 / 2x240 instead and still works pretty well.

I have a question, my father who also has psoriasis would like to start taking Psorinovo as well. Have you heard of any problems for the pople with high blood pressure (hypertension) taking the medication?

I am reading that it might stop working and it worries me and scares...

yours, Bigarm

Hi again and good to see you and hear that Psorinovo is still working your first thread is here  Joana new to forum it shows you started Psorinovo  September 2014...I hope that's helps

I'm not sure if there is a restriction if your father has high blood pressure I'm sure someone will have an opinion ...

While it's working I wouldn't worry as there is evidence of members on DMF for 10 years as Fumaderm ...there is no reason it should stop working.... as far as I know ...I'm in my 6th year in Fumaderm (DMF) and it continues to keep me clear

Good luck and great to see you back  Thumb

Hello Joana,

There is no reason why it should stop working, I know several people who are already using it for many years, more than ten, fifteen years. Only occasionally it may stop because your body starts to refuse it. But I would not be scared for that as it very well never may happen.

Anyway always do your regular blood checkups, but I assume that you know that.

I will try to check if high blood pressure could be a point in using Psorinovo. Give me some time.

Good to read from you and from your success !

Caroline

Hi LadyBug,

Like Jim and Caroline, I would not be worried about the drug ceasing to work. I have been on it for over four years and it works just the same. Provided your body can tolerate it and with the dose customisation you are practicing, it is hard to think why it would stop working for you.

Cheers,

Bill

Hi Joana,

Checked it with my medical contact.
And the answer is: it may or it may not have an effect.
So basically that brings you to nowhere, except for that it is worth trying it very carefully, under the guidance of the doctor and perhaps have a mobile blood pressure checker with you, so your dad can keep a good eye on it.
When you check the internet, there is hardly anything to find on the combination of DMF and blood pressure. Out of the tecfidera corner, I can find one mention of someone who got high bloodpressure, and if it is only one that does not say anything on the cause.

So well, that leaves it up to you, your dad and your doctor.

Hope you can make a wise decision,
Caroline

P.s. An internationally well known (Dutch) photographer, Mrs. P. Steur, already has used Psorinovo for 30 years.

Dear Bill,
is there any way you could help me get the DMF straight from China? I mean any contact to order it? My father would definitelyl like to try it, after he confirms Psorinovo works for him. It is very expensive, especially in his situation...
Can be priv as well.
thanks in advance,
LadyBug

Hi Ladybug.

Alibaba is an excellent way to get in touch with a number of chemical suppliers. DMF is used as a thickening agent in paints and glues, and is produced by the tonne at a purity adequate for oral dosing (98%). The standard product from many suppliers is a 25 kg bag, which would be over 300 years worth for me! As an added surety you may also wish to have any product tested locally in a commercial lab to confirm its purity. Were the laws in Australia not so restrictive, this is what I would be doing to access a further supply for myself.

That being said, my use of the drug is unique, so it is hard to say whether what I do would work for others. I ameliorate the gut upset substantially but not completely by pre-dosing with l-cysteine (3.5 grams and hour before an 810 mg dose of DMF). I am also testing l-glutamine supplementation as a means of maintaining a safe lymphocyte count, but it could be many months yet before I can determine if it is of benefit.

Good luck, Jo.
