Thanks Yoyo for the welcome note. I realized I have psirosis few months back when my scalp becomes so itchy that it needs constant scratch. A visit to dermatologist confirms that it is not a typical dandruff problem. Besides scalp, there are few patches on my arm and neck. I am now using tea tree oil syampoo sometimes twice a day if the itch gets too unbearable. I try to avoid stress but it is quite hard to escape work stress.

Hello Weenona,

Welcome to this psoriasis forum.
I hope you will have a good time over here and find many ideas and help,
There are a lot of people that can and will help you.

You are all the way from Asia, great ! This is a very international forum. We even have English in this forum that live in France !
Mind the humorous remarks in between. We all have psoriasis, but still see the world from the bright side.

Cheers,
Caroline

Hello everybody

It is Monday morning on this side of the world. My left eye hurts again. Am supposed to be at work already by now but just don't have the energy to beat the deadlines and pin myself to the PC.

P won't affect eye, will it? The eye specialists couldn't detect anything wrong with my left eye but it itches constantly Sad

Hello Weenona,

Morning has reached Europe also. So I already reached my work, it was cold over here on the road.

Psoriasis has no relations with problems in the eye. Maybe the surroundings of your eye may itch, but it also may be a contra indication of Humira.
If you look into the possible problems of Humira, occasionally eye inflammation may be one of them.

So be careful. Apparently the eye specialist could not find anything, but still it is important to keep track of what happens with your eyes.

As far as I know psoriasis will not affect your eyesight, but you may have psoriasis around the eye lids. Try some Coconut Oil see here: Coconut Oil

Hi and a big Welcome from me to the psoriasis club. I am sure you will be able to find some good advice on here on possible treatments, just be aware not all treatments work on everybody. But there is at least one out there that will suit you, and from the look at your profile I see you are using tea tree oil, if it works for you good if not keep pestering your dermatologist as they have a lot of treatments they can try. Keep us posted and remember you are not alone, and even if we can't do anything. It's sometimes nice to share a problem Wink

Hi all, thanks for the reply and word of advice.

Yup, tea tree oil syampoo for my scalp. It doesnt entirely reduce the flake and itchiness but work wonders compared to the other syampoo you can see on the shelf. Haven't tried coconut oil though

Not using humira and no P on face nor eye area. Think the eye because of something else. Perhaps a head scan could tell eek

Cheers
