Looking forward to my next massage appointment on Wednesday.
The only niggle this time is going to be Friday when my boy goes in for his operation. He's having plates inserted behind his ears to enable him to wear hearing aids without the headband he uses now. Because it takes a couple of weeks for them to fuse to the bone he will have to be 'aid less' for a while. I have lots of fun activities and hugs at the ready. Just nervous about the actual operation and will have to watch my stress levels.
XXX

How did it go Brighteyes?

Am back home alone.
The operation went well but Alex is having a struggle with the after effects of the anaesthetic.
He still can't keep fluids down so can't ingest any pain relief.
Hasn't eaten now for over 24 hours and quite poorly.
They have kept him in hospital.
Dad is staying at the hospital tonight ( only 1 parent allowed ) and I will be back in the morning hoping for better news. XXX

I hope you get good news. Hopefully the effects of the anesthesia will wear off soon and he'll start to improve.

Our boy is much brighter and enjoying his 'recuperation' at home.
Thanks for all the good wishes. Thumb
I think his dad and I have just about got over it too and I'm looking forward to my next massage/acupuncture session on Wednesday as I sure need some relaxation.
Also, the sun is shining here Cool YAY!
Despite everything I feel really blessed. Big Grin

Rollercoaster times!

Just waiting for the Garden Guy to arrive. Super excited about getting my little backyard plans started.
I even managed to do a bit myself yesterday whilst soaking up some lovely sunshine.
Don't worry, I paced myself well. Thumb
Then, last night, I had another massage/acupuncture session. We are really working on those knots and I slept like a log afterwards.
My feet are still quite dry and itchy with one annoying tear but pretty manageable compared to what it has been in the past.

On Tuesday I had a visit from my friend Helen to brainstorm about a fundraiser for another friend who has been diagnosed with cancer (for the 3rd time). Quite emotional as this friend is only in her 30's. Her son is in my boys class and she's been given 5 years tops. Sad
I'm busy completing all those craft projects that have been lingering with a view to selling them on to raise funds.
I figured that my feet may be restricted but my hands and brain aren't.

Alex is back to his usual pesky self and eating me out of house and home. I wouldn't have it any other way. Heart

Right, time for a catch up on what's being going on around here! Big Grin

You sound so much happier in yourself I can't believe you're the same person  Tongue
Great your garden is about to start, and yea the sun yesterday was a great bonus for us sufferers

I'm thinking must get myself booked in for one of these massages they seem to be working wonders on you    ( although last time it wasn't what I expected at all  Blush )

Good idea helping a friend fundraising for your other friend ( very sad news at a young age  Sad ) there is not much I can say but I'm sure your handicrafts will assist in the fundraising effort

Great news Alex is being annoying and has put the op behind him, it should stand him in good stead in the future  Thumb

Not much going on here......joke..... It's been manic  Big Grin

How about you hire a couple of topless Male Masseurs, and sell tickets to the Girls.

To get the Blokes to stump up some cash, get them to throw a fiver in the pot every time they want Nookie.
