It must be your writing skills, you never fail to make me have a vision when I read some of your posts. Are the fingerless plastic gloves and rag rug going to be part of your next erotic novel.  Big Grin

Yay holiday time where are you going?  Cool

Hi Brigheyes,
As with the others I hope the MTX will soon give you some relief.
And certainly have a good time with your break, may the weather gods be with you.

Well I think there is a little progress.
Everywhere that was an angry red is now a light pink ( if that makes sense). Of course, the main issue is my feet which are the most stubborn but I will just have to be a little more patient.
Taking 15mg of MTX today and I finally got to sleep at normal time last night.
As for our short break, we were thinking Scotland. Children in Scotland go back to school a week earlier than ours so prices at holiday parks are ridiculously cheaper in the last week of August. Looking at Seton Sands. Plus we have relatives who live near there so could be nice to have a catch up.
Feeling a bit more positive today.

Great news that there is progress however slow, it's going in the right direction. Getting some proper sleep will help you feel better. I hope your feet start to improve soon. But I'm glad to hear that you are feeling more positive..... Still got my fingers crossed for you.
Scotland at the end of August sounds good.... I love Scotland any time of year Thumb

Re rag rug ...... Confused making that sound erotic, takes some skill 78

Been a month now since I last got to go outside ( I don't count hospital trips ).
Feeling rather fed up now.
Trying not to let depression take hold but it is so difficult. Even I can only read for so long.
I sleep in fits and spurts, my appetite is pretty zero and am annoyed that only one friend has even bothered to pop in to see me in all this time.
Sorry to sound so negative but I feel like I am in limbo.
My O/H does his best but it's a lonely situation.
Sad

I understand that you are feeling so bad. being in the situation where the psoriasis is playing up so badly is without doubt frustrating and depressing. Still you have little signs that the MTX start working. Maybe hold on to that.
Only reading and I guess also watching TV is in the long run annoying.

We, from the forum, cannot go by you to see you, but we are always here, always some of us. Always if necessary someone to chat to although in a somewhat clumsy way, but we will do our best.

If the sun and the first flowers outside, go there, and try to cheer up. Look to the horizons and there you can see our shadows waving at you Smile Wave

Yes a month stuck inside is a long time when you are pretty much incapacitated. I know from experience that friends are embarrassed and unsure how to treat us when we are really bad... It's a shame they don't pick up the phone for a chat, at least..... There is still a lot of ignorance about psoriasis and perhaps they think you might be contagious..
There was a glimmer of hope in your last post you said your skin was improving slightly... How about the feet is there any improvement there?
It is very difficult for you but thank goodness you have good support from your other half .....
As Caroline has said we can't actually visit you, but we are always here to chat. If you want to pass some time chatting .... Here's a big remote   Bigarm  for you. I hope you improve enough to get out side soon

Brighteyes, I hope you get some relief!

I make rag quilts, quite fun. I've never tried to make a rag rug, but I've seen them. Not sure I could make one of those!

What books do you like to read?
