The injectable you may get is possibly methotrexate. Or one of the biological drugs Humira , or hopefully Stelara .....what ever it is I hope it will work as well as the cyclosporine
Yes a "Topical" is applied to the skin and a "Systemic" is taken orally or by injection.
If it's injectable it could be like Jim said "Methotrexate" but my guess would be one of the Bio's. As for which one, they used to start with "Remicade" but it's not so popular today. I'm with Dave if you get offered "Stelara" snatch their hand off.
