Scalp psoriasis and pain

I have just returned from my doctor and told her my scalp psoriasis is so painful I was in tears trying to sleep last night and she said psoriasis doesn't hurt. Has anyone else ever been told that cause believe me mine is extremely painful?

That's terrible treatment, it's insensitive and a health professional should know better.
Were you given anything to help ?

If not go back and ask for a referral to a dermatologist ...I'm sure they would never tell you that psoriasis isn't painful, and will give you something to control it,

Unfortunately you will probably have to wait for an appointment, in the meantime Freds idea with the coconut oil is worth a try
