Hello Kathy to Psoriasis Club
What you describe about your daughters skin weeping and sticking to her pyjamas does sound like psoriasis, but other skin problems can also cause that. This thread may help a little Types Of Psoriasis Explained but I agree with Caroline I don't think a blood test will give you a positive answer.
Does she have any flaky skin anywhere ? The scalp, elbows and knees are often a tell tail, I would have thought if it is psoriasis there would be some dry skin somewhere and not just weeping or stickiness.
It's so sad to hear about young people getting it, it's bad enough being an adult but having said that I know someone that has had it since childhood and she is so open about it.
I'm sorry I can't offer any more than Caroline, but psoriasis is so hard to diagnose let alone treat. Please do come back and let us know how it goes as your information could help others in the future.
Hopefully others will chip in.
Regards.
Fred.
