Hair can also thin in response to some medications.
I think my hair comes out more readily in recent times, lots of strands after I wash it - as you say it could be age.
I found a particular shampoo really useful with the scalp psoriasis - it was oilatum shampoo. (Is it ok to name it?) I don’t know what it had in it but it really helped clear mine up.
I think it's fine to name, we name lots of creams and treatments, just can't promote it for sale or link to a website, etc.
Most of my psoriasis is the lower part of my head. Most of the scratching is in that area too. I don't have any bald spots or anything, just losing a lot of hair lately and my hair is thinner.
I can find Oilatum cream but not shampoo. I'll keep looking.
