I'm sorry I haven't been on in so long! I hope your 2017 is going really well!
I've been drinking Kombucha and Kefir and it seems to be doing the trick. I've been brewing Kombucha myself for a month or so, and just last week started my own kefir culture. Lots of good homegrown Probiotics! And for me it's working. I went to the dermatologist last month and he was astounded that I am clear. I've been in an 8 year study of psoriasis (we're at year 5 now) and he had to really look hard for any sign of it to keep me in the study. Which made me happy!
My theory is that in my case it's my body's reaction to a fungal infection. I've coincidentally had a fungal toenail for just about as long as the psoriasis. (30 years or so). And that toenail is now growing out healthy and clear.
There's so much we don't know about how our bodies work!
Cheers
Hi Celia great to hear you are pretty much clear.......it seems as if Kombucha and Kefir have worked wonders for you, (I have had to google them to see what they are about and it seems a healthy way to live
I wish you continued success

I just wanted to pop in to say that I am still - years later - in remission from plaque psoriasis! I've now added fermented foods and sourdough to my crazy kitchen pet menagerie, but they're working for me. I have Kefir as a smoothie for breakfast every day, kombucha with dinner, a spoon of sauerkraut with at least one meal a day, and I eat a loaf of sour dough bread over the course of a week. They are all definitely an acquired taste, but I've come to enjoy them all. Otherwise, I pretty much eat whatever I like. I also yoga several days a week. So I can't point to one particular thing, but the combo seems to keep my skin clear of psoriasis.
I hope everyone is having a good 2020 so far
Great to hear that Celia! I had a glass of kefir this morning, it's a part of my diet also. I think it helps and I enjoy the taste.
