Congratulations that's a great improvement and thanks for coming back with photos of the difference

I really hope it continues to work for you Thumb

Have you started adding foods back to see the effect they have yet?

Thanks Celia. Did you find that fermented food helped at all? You mentioned this in an earlier post I think.

Thanks Jim. I've been cheating more and more lol. I still try to be strict but it's difficult. The reactions I'm getting are less and less so I'm fairly sure my insides are healing as well as my skin and nails.

Great stuff, Alan. I wish what you did worked for everyone, but I am at least very pleased for you.

Cheers,

Bill

Cheers Bill. Time for a mince pie and whipped cream ☺ I've even tried some beer and that was ok as well. Early days re. eating normally, but I've eaten normal amounts for a day or two at a time and so far the results are promising. I'm not going to push it, so sticking to my regime for another couple of months at least.

Happy New Year everyone.

Time for an update after the Christmas festivities I thought.

I'm very glad to be able to say that after eating 'normally' over the entire Christmas period (24th Dec - 2nd Jan) I have not had any serious side effects.

The side effects have been :

~ slight swelling of fingers

~ some dryness of hands with a little flakiness on fingertips

~ occasional bloated feeling

All in all a small price to pay for a normal Christmas.

So now I'm back on the restrictive diet again and these symptoms have all but gone already.

I take this to mean that the condition has improved immensely - when I ate normally a few months ago the consequences were much much worse and took months to improve.

Happy days then. My gut feeling (pun intended) is that I should be clear of this condition by summer.

Off for a couple of weeks of winter sun in a few weeks so that should also help matters.

Best wishes to everyone for a great 2017.

Great to read your update Alan. Glad you had a good Christmas and the normal eating didn't upset the psoriasis too badly Thumb

I hope getting back in your diet will get you back on track quickly

I look forward to reading your next update.
Thanks Thumb

Thanks for this post Alan540, I have found it useful and might try to give it a go. I noted in the list of foods you can eat (really helpful) you didn't list fruits, white fish or some seeds that I have been eating such as chia seeds & pumkin seeds. Have you been avoiding these also? I know it will be trial and error really but just wondering as it worked for you.
