Feeling rather fed up now.
Trying not to let depression take hold but it is so difficult. Even I can only read for so long.
I sleep in fits and spurts, my appetite is pretty zero and am annoyed that only one friend has even bothered to pop in to see me in all this time.
Sorry to sound so negative but I feel like I am in limbo.
My O/H does his best but it's a lonely situation.
Sad

Hey don't feel fed up mate, I'd visit if I was nearer and would enjoy a good old chinwag with you.  Bigarm

And don't worry about sounding negative, it helps as you know to share and you have often helped others in the past so it's the least we can do to put up with a little grumbling from you.

Up and down like a brides nightie the last few days.
And you would not believe how much it hurts to take a bath. Feet still terribly raw.
I just don't feel human at the moment.
Don't think it's a case of getting worse ( my skin is actually improving, just takes longer for damned stubborn feet ), but I think my resolve is weakening.
34 days now since I stepped outside this house.... and counting.
If you find any spare marbles please send them my way as I seem to be losing mine.

I would lend you some of mine, but I don't think they would be much help.

Don't weaken Brighteyes you can win. Try not counting the days, or try counting days to something nice as opposed to how long things have been bad.

Mmmm. Nice phrase that  Blush
Are you putting anything in your bath to help to soothe your skin.... Epsom Salts, or Baking soda

Sorry you are feeling rubbish.what you need is a distraction
Did Fred say you did some writing ? Why not write us a story in off topic section? It might help ease the boredom and stimulate your mind and stop you going stir crazy.......im stuck for ideas but will always chat by pm or in the chatting thread ( Fred always moans at me for always pming people ) Big Grin
Just a suggestion
I know you must be feeling rubbish and desperate to get out. But you say yourself that the skin is improving  apart from your feet
( which are quite important I know)
Keep your chin up and try not to weaken its a difficult ask I know ... But you have a big support group here for you  Bigarm

Wish I had some words of wisdom, or even a good suggestion.

If you can't go anywhere, at least try to get outside and get some fresh air and sunshine if that's possible.

Hang in there! Bigarm

Well, well, well......what a difference a few hours make.
I got in the dreaded bath and.......no pain!!! eek
Not sure how that happened.
The only thing I've done differently was to apply some Elocon cream last night.
Not complaining.....it's just such a relief to be comfortable for a change.

And thanks for all the words of support everyone. It really does help. Kiss

Ugh! Ugh! Ugh!
Feel nauseous, flushed and have a low level headache today. I know it's the meds. And, dare I say, pre-menopause ( sorry guys) :(
That said, I am not burning which is AMAZING!!!
I may even get off this sofa tonight and go sleep in my own bed. Thumb
Hoping this is the start of the slow climb back. Smile

Are you on Methotrexate now? Only your profile still says Ciclosporin.

If you are on methotrexate, what you are describing sounds like some of the side effects. It's usually worse nearer you time of taking it, unless you're me then it never felt good.

Getting in your bed will be a benefit as you will relax better, sofas are ok but not designed for a good nights kip.
