Another thing is that times and treatments are changing for the better and hopefully if you are fairly well covered you could go straight onto something like acetretin which some of our members from America have been put straight on  oral treatments as the dermatologists on your side of the Atlantic don't seem to follow the same protocols as our dermatologists this side, I think it may depend on your insurance company if Canada follows the American pattern

I will know soon, but hope canada is not that much behind of US, and i trust our med

I would encourage you to do so as soon as you feel up to it. Once you tell one you will find it gets easier, and people are not so bothered once they know. It's the hiding that they will notice more.

It's not easy and it does take courage, but trust me it's best to get it out in the open as soon as possible.

But we're always here if you're not up to it, and we can encourage you.

You could be one of the lucky ones as you have only just been diagnosed, you could get remission fairly quickly if you get a good treatment

just read what's available before you see a dermatologist ...then you are more likely to have a good outcome if you appear to know the for's and against's of the available treatments
And certainly stay positive ....
