That's good to hear, thank you Linda.

If you do get one would you mind starting a new thread about it for future reference.

You can either post in the public boards or have one in [Group Specific] which is only seen by members with 10 posts if you wanted to keep it more private. Wink

But yes it must be very difficult especially for Females and even some young Men. If it helps keep ones confidence and self esteem then it has to be worth it.

I have my fingers crossed for you Linda I hope they can stop your hair loss without taking you off the treatment ..... Explain your anxiety to the dermatologist   Be frank with them they won't know the effect it has on you if you don't tell them

Like the sound of the holiday so I understand you don't want to jeopardise your health for your hair . At the  time of your holiday ...But depression is an awful thing and we don't wanting you going down that route

Hey and the second part of your post yaaaaaay you are a member of the happy club. We strive to keep a happy atmosphere and won't tolerate unpleasantness here. Start a just happy thread in off topic for others to put their happy experiences in if you wish
As you have seen we are a happy band of jokers members

Good luck with the derm appointment  Thumb

Yes I'll second what Jim said. Tell them you are very anxious and have had depression, the more you open up to them the better they are able to help.

You will find a lot of support here especially to those that have experienced depression so don't hesitate to shout out anywhere as someone will soon come running.

Also like Jim said, you are very welcome to start a "Happy Thread" or as many threads as you wish in the members only board here: [Group Specific]

I can recommend having a flick through some of the threads in there as you will find over 40,000 posts which will keep you very entertained. You never know, if you look hard enough you may find a Fish Supper, Card Trick, Jokes, Music, Debates, Glitter Cards, Free Drinks and Food, Games, Oh you name it it's probably there. If it's not then just start it. Thumb

Another thing that can throw up something is by clicking the "Random Thread" button from the menu third from the left. (*This only works for members)

God luck with your appointment.

Good to hear you had a great holiday, and even better that your hair problem is slowing down.

Good luck with your next appointment. Thumb

Good to hear your holiday went well, and the hair loss is less of a problem ......it's looking very positive.

I hope you have a good meeting with your consultant next month, don't forget to be open with him about your anxiety, hopefully he will listen Thumb
