I don't know of anyone that has lost a lot of hair through Acitretin so I would say you should still look good for your holiday. But if all else fails go and get yourself a really wacky wig (I'm thinking maybe bright Purple or even Psoriasis Club Green)  87

Oh and it will grow back if you do loose any by the way.  Smile

I don't know much about Acitretin myself, but Micky mentions about alcohol here: Acitretin

I would be surprised if he did that Linda ......he's more likely to move you onto a different medication I would hope so your hair will come back naturally Confused

Good luck I hope you get something to help Thumb

If really necessary, there are special hairdressers that are specialized in wigs. They are often consulted by people who are losing their hair because of e.g. chemo therapy. You can search for that on the internet.

Interesting I wouldn't have thought they would prescribe a wig for using acitrtin, I thought they only done that for chemo treatments.

I can't help on where you would get one, but would be interested if you did get a prescription as it may help others in the future.
