Well Fred,

it was as you said.

We had a good long chat about it and I did read more into it than I should have. I was in the middle of a depressive episode at the time so that didn't help.

All is well again plus we both have gained a deeper understanding.

I'm actually down to one arm at the moment as that trapped nerve I had back in April has decided to make a return visit. Am now on muscle relaxants and painkillers as well as my psoriasis medication. If you listen carefully when I move there's a distinct rattling sound. LOL!

Will have a proper catch up around the forum next week (after the school hols). Take care everyone and thank you for putting up with me. Tongue

Well, well, well.

I still have a trapped nerve but have started seeing an Osteopath and also have an appointment at the local community acupuncture place. Feeling positive. Big Grin

The pain and accompanying lack of proper sleep did put my mind and body under some stress which, in turn, induced a nasty little flare up on my feet. Despite this I managed to get to an interview last week and am now a voluntary intern with a local charity. Thumb

My O/H and I have been setting aside an evening every week just to chat and touch base with how things are going. He's re-started his theatre group and has settled well into his teaching assistant position so there's a nice, relaxed atmosphere here.

Oh, and I've been offered a FREE place learning Indian Head Massage, pilates and mindfulness to help with my physical and emotional well being. Good times.

Just thought I'd keep you up to date.

Now going to browse around the forum and see if you've all been behaving. Wink

Well hello AGAIN!

It's been hectic around here lately.
My intern post is fabulous. Being just a small part of an organisation that helps small charities is very fulfilling and I'm really enjoying it.

I had another flare last week. 2/3rds of my left foot was just one complete 'blister'. With that and the fact that I'm still suffering a trapped nerve in my neck I could have easily thrown in the towel.

However, I realised that I'd made a mistake with my meds. I hadn't noticed I was down to my 25mg boxes instead of the 50mg boxes and was only taking 4 per day (I'm supposed to have 200mg per day). What an eejit I am.
So I'm back on track now. Smile

I've had a quick glance around the site and it looks like it's been busy. Going to have a good read through this weekend whilst I relax.

Sorry I've been quiet lately. Been up to my eyes in course work and volunteering.

Interesting (sort of) observation. I've been checking back through my posts here and elsewhere and I'm really starting to see a pattern going on.

My psoriasis appears to be flaring up roughly around every 4 weeks. Or, to be more specific, the week prior to my period (sorry Fred).

In a way this could make planning my time easier as I could factor this problem in. I also thought about taking some extra meds during that week + spending more time on relaxation & stress busting strategies.

Can't do any harm. Smile
