Cosentyx for psoriatic arthritis Fred's journey

New year update, three months on since going back to every 4 weeks.
Still over the moon with the psoriatic arthritis. Very slight stiffness in my shoulders some mornings, but it soon passes once I get moving. Even in the damp weather I have had no problems, not even with my toes which was always one of the worst places. So I can keep the psoriatic arthritis score at 1 which I am very pleased with. As for the psoriasis I'm scoring it at a 4 as I just can't seem to get it to keep away, and that is even with the use of Enstilar for a month. I think I will go back to using the diprosone as and when I need it which isn't often, but it's less messy and just as effective. All in all I'm very happy with Cosentyx. Not great for the psoriasis, but excellent for the psoriatic arthritis which is what I wanted it for.

Glad to hear that you are very happy with the Cosentyx ,still don't know what to do as I have P very bad and PsA less so or at least not as dibialating as the P. May think about changing from the Stelara later in the year.

When I read other threads here from members using Cosentyx they all seem to do better than me for the psoriasis, but the psoriasis I do have is still better than it was on Stelara.

I've wondered about it as well since my issue is with psoriasis (and possibly the beginning of psoriatic arthritis) but if primary doc doesn't see an issue, I'll be switching to Cosentyx and hope that it helps further clear up my psoriasis. It seems like yesterday that I had my bad flare, but it's been a year on Stelara now... and as I sit here scratching, I'm not where I want to be.
So glad it's been working well for you Fred. I know you had good success with Stelara and now with Cosentyx.

I thought you had only started it a couple of months ago. Someone please slow the world down.

It's great to know that it's still working well enough to keep you happy Fred although not perfect on your psoriasis it's liveable with it the way it is as long as the arthritis is well under control
Here's hoping you get many more years of relief with it

Better that it keeps the arthritis at bay Fred. Great that it continues to deliver for you.
