Thank you Artemie, I hope it helps others as I think personal opinions are better than any studies.

Great Fred glad that it's sorting the PsA out , still don't know what to do myself.

That has to be your choice Dave. But if it helps I think this is the best thing ever for psoriatic arthritis, if however you think the psoriasis is more important then I would say stick to Stelara.

As far as I know you still rely on Tramadol to get you through? If that is the case then go for Cosentyx as you will be able to dump the Tramadol. But as you know, what works for me may not work for you.

My advise though for you would be give it a try. If it's not for you then you can always switch back to Stelara.

It does not seem like a year, Fred, but I have to agree with you that controlling psa trumps keeping the skin clear.

Good news Thumb I must admit, I'm hopeful for Consentyx when the Stelara stops working (I say when rather than if, because I'm pretty sure my body will find a way around it like it has everything else!)

Yes I want to slow the world down Bill. I would think most people with psoriatic arthritis would want that sorted first, it's a nasty thing to have as you know.

Thank you TL. I think you are right to say "when" I have found with all treatments they stop working as well as they once did (Bill says Tut Tut Fred). Having said that I had 6 years + on Stelara so if you follow suit you have a long way to go and there are more on the horizon.

Just posting this for future reference. You are welcome to reply, but please don't give sympathy.

All going a bit tits up with the psoriasis.  Confused

The bit I had on both my shins is spreading around the back of my legs and it's getting so red and sore that it's now getting painful to walk. I've given up on the diprosone as it wasn't helping, instead I have been using loads of coconut oil. But it's not helped and I have been pulling huge flakes off and today it is so raw and stinging like hell and I no longer want to stand up as it hurts so much. At the moment I'm sitting here with the bottom half of my legs covered in Calamine lotion, it has helped but it's not looking good.

I also have a few patches appearing on the top of my legs, the arm pits and my forearms. So my psoriasis score has had to go up from 4 to 9 and I'm getting close to phoning my dermatologist. But I have a lot of thinking to do before I phone her as the psoriatic arthritis is great.

I have always said I wanted something to rid me of psoriatic arthritis and Cosentyx has and still is doing that, but I think I got spoilt with clear skin and had forgot how painful a flare up can be. It's got worse this past few days and this is one hell of a flare up, so I have some serious thinking to do.

Is it possible to go back to the Stelara even if it's just until you have the P under control Fred, I have decided to stay on the Stelara for the time being as I remember when the P was really bad and it's a toss up which is worst P or PsA but I think the P Has it.
