I don't go out of my way to exercise, I have tried cycling and walking in the past but never noticed any difference.

You ?

Exercise is good for overall health.  In my rigorous exercise, skating, the effect of sweating seems to worsen the places where psoriasis is most active.  Showering as soon as I can after exercise seems to help that.

But, overall, exercise has brought zero improvement to my skin.  It provides strength and happiness, though.

Fred, your work in the garden is pretty good exercise.   Smile

I don’t think there’s any positive effect of exercise on skin, but I do think keeping up regular exercise helps my joints - having said that it’s mostly walking nothing vigorous - I used to find swimming good but I haven’t been for years partly because there’s only one pool and I haven’t been able to find a good time when :
a - I’m free,
b - the pool isn’t closed to public by local school swimming lessons,
c - the pool isn’t full of grumpy tutting lane swimmers..
and more recently you’re expected to book online etc etc so I have completely lost all interest in swimming as they suck the joy out of it since I’ve lived here.
I used to go to an exercise class run by my friend which was good but she moved on and I don’t have the motivation to go to another.
So walking it is Smile which I do enjoy.

I have chosen for “no difference” but I wanted to choose for both positive and negative effects, which finally results in no difference.

I do cycle a lot, and have found that moving and any exercise has its advantages, my joints get more smoothly and often pain disappears. But on the other side, if I am busy in the garden of my friends, then sometimes I do too much and the effect of that is again that by the end of the day my joints do hurt more then normal.
The advantage of cycling, and living in the Netherlands with a lot of cycling paths, is that it is not a very heavy exercise in the sense of pressure on your joints, but it is mostly a muscle thing.

Exercise does not have any effect on my skin.

I don't exercise much.....went for walks after my ER episode at the end of February 2021.....ended up making it worse.  I do have a treadmill now....it looks nice!  Just need to start using it  Confused

I haven't noticed any difference in skin, but I notice a BIG difference in my joints after they are stretched. Although exercise might not really be the correct word probably just usage. For me when the joints are warmed up after stretching or walking they become less painful but do go back to being tight again when not used. So that's why I think exercise can help. Zero help with skin however, also I can't think of any reason how exercising could help with the skin other than general overall health. Sweating is good for the skin so it could be more helpful than one might think I guess.

For me I have never noticed any difference to my skin or my joints when I exercise, but I don't do organised  exercise  and have no gym memberships and only swim in the summer in the sea, but I do walk every day and feel it keeps me fit, but has never affected my skin or joints, but my medication has been working for 10 years so it's difficult to know if things would be different if my treatment didn't work

Never really get the chance to use the gym or that kind of thing, ride my bike when I get round to it. Don't do much walking in fact exercise is way down the list.
