I'm glad you found something that worked for you and thanks for sharing your information.  We're all different and a lot of people would like to go the natural way for treatment if they find something that helps so your information could help others and that's what this forum is all about.  Smile
Thanks
I hope drug companies take a look at guava leaves (also the fruit) research about it and get its real capabilities for healing. so that they can produce medicine for all young and old.
but I guess there are just things that have to be done in certain way and process to be followed for it to work.

Most research is done by government and universities Albert. Drug companies only research on things that can make profit. So hoping some university will pick this up.

Universities “invent” the medicines. For some strange reason the government then passes the rights to Pharma who produce them and some Pharma, they are not all the same I found out, really makes an awful lot of money from that.
Money that is lost and cannot be used for the better of mankind.

Guava leaves are truly miraculous, as it relieved me of my plaque psoriasis after more than 10 years!
However, I made a big error of researching and drinking guava leaf tea, because it turned out that I have an allergy from it, and it wouldn't go away and I learned then that it has actually turned into psoriasis, and it now takes up a wider area than before Sad

That is a strange reaction Piansa. How did it at first relieved your psoriasis?
Very sad that drinking the tea reacted so opposite.
Did you talk with your dermatologist about that?

On the other side, welcome to Psoriasisclub Welcome

Thanks for the welcome!
Well, I more of engage in research and own experience rather than relying on dermatologists.
Because we're not really well off, and we don't live in a developed country.
I'm researching further on natural cures.
Guava leaves would have truly been miraculous, had I not tried the guava tea!

Actually, the first intent was to cure the cellulitis which arose due to my wrong skin ritual then.  The guava leaves are known by my sister as anti-bacterial.  And after more than a week I was wondering why it was not yet inflamed, as I would normally have to apply steroids by then.  And I realized it was finally cured after more than 10 years!
So I was so impressed that I researched on it, and learned about making guava tea and all it's amazing benefits.  It even says allergies are rare!
And so I thought!  Haha.
Originally only my lower legs suffer, but now even my thighs, hips and back!

Hi Piansa and a big welcome  Welcome  to the forum. I hope you enjoy your time with us we are all sufferers of this condition and are all happy to share information on what works for us . We have a section about natural treatments here Natural Treatments For Psoriasis where you will see what some of our members have tried, what you won't find are any scams or adverts for miracle cures.  Thumb we are a friendly bunch of sufferers who are always happy to answer any questions you may have, from personal experience as non of us are doctors just sufferers like you trying to make life more comfortable with psoriasis
It was interesting to learn that guava leaves kept psoriasis away for 10 years that's brilliant . What do you do with the leaves ? do you just rub them on?

Shame when making tea with them it made matters worse ...I do hope you can get clear again soon
Jim
