It sounds as though you had a good, meaningful doctor appointment and plenty of time for discussion.  That's wonderful.

Yes FW it will definitely be Ilumetri it's a cohort study on the efficacy of Ilumetri, some of the information may also help them with the application for psoriatic arthritis.

Yes I have a very good relationship with my dermatologist, I have been with her over 12 years and she is now the top dermatologist at the training hosipital.

When she said one or two drinks I don't supposed she was talking about buckets Fred. I will look forward to your reports as you start your journey on the new trial.

Yes Dave it's an IL23 the same as Tremfya, but we are going to play with the dose.

They don't mind you drinking red wine here, I was given a glass sometimes with my meal in hospital when I had to stay in.

I will start a new thread when I start and put a link here so you can all find it if you wish. Thumb

Yes only one little bottle enough for one glass.

There was no problem with foods you can't eat or drink with psoriasis in the dermatology department, every day you got toasted things or croissants with jam and coffee. Then twice a day you got a three course meal from a choice of menu and cheeses in the evening.

*Note for reference psoriatic arthritis score up from 9 to 13

Only in France eh Fred!!
Wine in the hospitals 85 Last time I was in with my Endocarditis and a massive blood infection a close friend of mine (who is a retired Doctor) visited in the last week of 6 that I was in and dropped off a small bottle of Cab Sav to have with my dinner - boy did I get a good bollocking for having alcohol in hospital.

It is going to be very interesting following your trial Fred. I just wish our Dermys were as forward thinking as yours is.

Thank you John, wine especially red is a rule like a loaf of bread ............................ you must have it.

I watched an old film about the French soldiers in WW1 stuck in the trenchers, they were given red wine and bread at mid-day to keep them going.

When I read the way some of our members are treated (if they can get appointments) in the UK it makes me shudder, I thought the postcode lottery was over years ago but the evidence is there when I read some posts that it still goes on.

Glad you have a plan now Fred. Still Think you should have gone earlier. I doubt that your dermatologist would ever think of you a a squeaky wheel.

Thank you Bill. I like to try and get the most out of my treatment before switching. Big Grin
