I think you’re right, these drugs seem to be about periods of relief rather than total freedom.

First was Remicade, my skin went red all over and I had to stay in hospital for a few days.

Next was Humira. Again my skin went red and also started producing little spots, I phoned the dermatologist and she told me to come in urgently. I ended up staying in hospital for a week as I was just too weak.

Then we tried Enbrel, but again my skin started going red and very warm and damp.

They decided I could no longer take the TNF blockers.

Your finger is looking bad Fred.
I have seen the same in my fingers, but that is already a very long time ago.

Yes it looks bad, but I've had a lot worse. My toes used to be the worst and even my little toes would get as big as my big toe and soooooo red and painful.

Time to try another medication, Fred. With you finger swollen like that I can't see what the Cosentyx is doing. At least you you don't get mucked about in France.

Yes I think it's stopped working Bill.

I'm very pleased with the healthcare in France. I have never had reason to complain and they give you time to discuss things, also it's free as psoriasis is classed as a long term illness.

For reference:

Psoriasis score up from 5 to 11

Psoriatic arthritis score up from 14 to 17

Looks like this is failing fast.

That is certainly the case.
Very inconvenient for you Fred, or better real shit...
Not much to do but go for the next and wait for it to work.

Yep I just have to ride it out, but it has surprised me how fast it is failing. With Stelara it was slow, but it looks like when Cosentyx stops it does it quickly.  Confused

But we are all different and it does give results to a lot of people, maybe this one just isn't for me after all.

I doubt they will ever get one to please me 100%  Big Grin

Owww. That looks uncomfortable Fred. I'm guessing the weather doesn't help either. Any idea when you start your next potion

Yes the damp does make it worse, but this is the first time since being on Cosentyx that it has been this bad.

I will start Tremfya on 1st March as long as the dermatologist hasn't been in touch.   Thumb
