So sorry to hear the Cosentyx has bitten the dust. It has been a good friend to you even though it was for a relatively short time Confused .
Here's hoping the next stuff does the Arthritis as well as Cosentyx did

I'll watch with great interest how it works for you

Yes it is a shame, it's been so good to me but that feeling of the psoriatic arthritis coming back is frightening..

Thank you Dave, time will tell. It's similar to Stelara and I had 6+ years on that so hopefully it will do well.

Thank you John, yes it's been the best treatment I have ever had. But I now have to try my 6th bio.

I’ve had both eczema and psoriasis - the docs reactions seem to suggest that’s unusual but there you go. I had the eczema mostly as a child, at least psoriasis isn’t oozy and most of the time itches less than eczema but they’re both annoying.
It is a shame about the treatment, but fingers crossed for the next one though.

Thank you TL I would have stayed on Cosentyx but I can't afford to let the psoriatic arthritis come back, so I have to give it a try.

I've never had eczema and myself and the dermatologist were surprised it was in as a possible from the biopsy, but they have the sample and have given their conclusion so I guess we can't ague.

But yes a new chapter soon begins in my journey, so I too will be keeping my fingers crossed. My priority however is still the psoriatic arthritis and it always will be as it is the one that ruins my life the most.

Thank you KatT. If it works as well as Stelara and Cosentyx did I will be happy.

Note for reference: The psoriatic arthritis is definitely getting worse, I have had to put the psoriatic arthritis score up from 9 to 14.

Seems to be changing rather fast too.  Confused

Right middle finger is the worse.

I was reading up about something called anti drug antibodies in response to biological drugs, looks like the body can make them quite fast or you might get longer, but I’m wondering if they all fail in this way in the end.

With me the TNF bios never really worked and then I kept getting reactions to them. Stelara (an IL) slowly stopped working, but yes my thinking is that my body has got used to it.

Thinking about it, it would make sense for your body to fight against the treatment as it's not normal. Or could it just be the psoriasis / psoriatic arthritis has won the battle against Cosentyx like it eventually did with Stelara 91 If that is the case then my thoughts are right "There will never be a cure" though some will manage better than others on one treatment, it must depend on the severity of the disease as to how long they get relief.

May I ask, what the reactions were? As I’ve never had any success with any of them but Stelara, and I have a suspicion that some might actually make my symptoms worse..

I think you’re right, these drugs seem to be about periods of relief rather than total freedom.
