Sounds good Artemie good to know you're getting clearer seems the diet is doing it's work on the skin combined with the great weather we have been having. Long may it last
Sounds like fun on your building site Artemie how long before the project is finished

thanks all, I will keep updating =] Building will take another year at least, since we're doing it all ourselves. But together with friends, the house to the left and the right of us are friends and now neighbours. Projectmanaging together as a team, but each their own plot of land and personal preference albeit we have 1 architect who designed a modular building type. Each house is slightly different in size and layout. It sure helps to build and plan together, we all have different talents. Would defenitely recommend building in this fashion. We're still friends =] There are other groups in this experimental area consist of more than 3 households like we do and they seem to have more discussions among themselves and things go slower....

Added Evening Primrose Oil and Milk Thistle extract to the diet 2 weeks ago. Improving in leaps and bounds! Everything is thinning out, albeit slowly.
For those interested; I found very positive reviews on Amazon, by looking up these products and selecting the most reviewed. You can then filter these on 'psoriasis'

good luck Kat! (it's actually AIP Paleo, the autoimmune protocol. A slightly stricter version of Paleo)
its not always easy to not eat all the goodies or easy food that others around me do, especially now with the housebuilding. But I lost 14 kilo and can fit my old clothes again, so there's that.

Change of tactics. I'm now seeing a dietician, just started out.
Microbiome sample is on it's way to a lab to be analysed. Oh the joys of collecting such samples. Bloodtest on vitamins, iron etc will be done asap, pandemic allowing... so maybe later Blood analasys on food intolerances will be done in the next months, after eating food out of tested food groups. I've been put on a low histamine diet, with borage and boswellia supplements. I was clearing rather nicely over summer (also on non-exposed spots) but I feel there should be more personal diet changes for it to work better. So spend about 6 months to find a dietician who thinks along the same lines as me. There could be a latent virus,, bacteria of something like that in the microbiome and I've seen mentioned ofttimes in scientific paper that the microbiome of people with psoriasis is often different. This is a long project. Mission; find Artemie's specific triggers |
