Hi, Just a quick introduction from me to your forum. I have had psoriatic arthritis since the mid 90s and have had most of the treatments prescribed over the years.I was just wondering if anyone he's any problem with eyes itching..I began treatment of taltz on Wednesday and have developed itching of my eyes today.I wondered if it was common. I have took loratadine tablets daily and eyedrops but it's not working. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Grifter and   to the club we have several members that use Taltz, but I don't remember anyone mentioning itchy eyes. But I'm sure a user will know better than me I have looked at the common side effects and itching eyes is not among them see here Taltz (ixekizumab)
I hope you get an answer to your problem and wonder could it be just an eye infection and possibly not linked to Taltz
Enjoy the club it is run by sufferers for sufferers and what you read here is genuine experiences of other members.

Hello grifter123   to Psoriasis Club.

I doubt it's the Taltz, but it could be uveitis see this thread Bidirectional association between psoriatic disease and uveitis But it's best to check with your GP, Dermatologist or Eye doctor.

It could be worth you trying another thread in Psoriasis And Psoriatic Arthritis Topics as it will get noticed better by some Tatlz users or members with more knowledge about itchy eyes.

Uveitis can be associated with p and psa. Mine responded to systemic treatment. You are talking about burning eyes aren't you?

Thanks to all of you for the replies to my post concerning the itching eyes and taltz. Thankfully it's cleared up. I think it may have been an allergy .
After three injections of taltz and using Enstilar foam I'm pleased to say the psoriasis is showing a marked inprovement. My consultant had told me that there had been good results reported about taltz, but I was still sceptical having heard the same concerning enbrel and humira for psoriasis. 
I'm just hoping that this is the turning point after years of only puva bath and light treatment working on my skin.

Hi Annettaj, 
I haven't noticed anything that's bothering me as such, only a bit of shortness of breath when I leave the house. But to be honest it's been like this for quite a while and I find that I tend to overheat with little effort. If the psoriasis clears and stays away a little discomfort is not much to bare.
