I am not new to this site but have not introduced myself

I am 61 and have had Psoriasis since I was 17 at varying degrees of intensity
I would only use natural treatments up until about 6 years ago
when it became unbearable. I think it may have been because of menopause
but I finally found a Derma I liked who convinced me to try Stelera.
Honestly it was life changing. I still always had some areas
but I was at about 80% covered before Stelera
I have since switched to Try?? - sorry I always go blank on the name-
But it is even better. Do I worry about long term effects of these drugs?' Yes
but my quality of life is vastly improved. Anyway
I don't want to forget that I am still a psoriatic and want to be more in
touch with this wonderful community

Hello Bluejeans, you did have a sort of intro here: NAET Treatment

But I will say  Welcome again as it was a while ago.

Yes the Bio's are life changing, I'm a big fan as they game me my life back.

As for the one you have switched to, my guess would be Tremfya ? But you can find the list here: Biological Treatments For Psoriasis

Good luck with your treatment and don't hesitate to start a thread in Prescribed Treatments For Psoriasis about your journey if you wish as threads in this section do get closed after 3 months.

Good to see you back.

Fred.

Sorry I can't help with that as I live in the past and my phone only makes and receives calls. Big Grin

Some members do use phones but I don't think the software we currently use is great for phones, that may change next year though.

But it could be worth starting a new thread in [Group Specific] asking others as we do have some Iphone/pad users that may be able to help.

Hi Bluejeans , welcome to the club,it's good that you have joined us. I am on Stelara myself and have been for over five years and I agree it was life changing after 40 plus years with this dam problem.
I use an android phone, laptop and tablet but my phone has a 6.4 inch screen so not to bad to use but some phones must be difficult , I just get on to the site through the e mail notification but obviously I have it on my laptop shortcut just to click on.
I don't use the I Phone I am not a fan at all, not very adaptable it's extremely difficult to customise any programmes or at least not as easy as Android on the phone and certainly not on the I pad as the laptop.
Just have a look around and jump in .

Hi Jean,

Very nice to meet you. shake
Thanks for wanting to be more a part of this community. You won’t regret it, I think... eek

Love it that you have a good quality of life, one of the most important things in life.

I mostly use an iPad to post on Psoriasisclub, very seldomly a phone, most convenient is of course a computer with a big screen.

Have fun with us.

Cheers,
Caroline

Hi blue jeans  Welcome to the club I'm glad you have introduced yourself and you are doing well on stelara . Tremfya  I'm sure you will find us a friendly bunch happy to exchange views

I post mainly with an iPhone 5 which is small but easy to use ( although I'm known for hitting the wrong buttons)

I also do the newsletter on an iPad so the apple products are easy to use  Big Grin

Some love apple products others don't it's a personal thing they all do the job
