Hi From Ireland - starting Stelara soon.

Hey everyone.

33 year old male, have had psoriasis for the last 15+ years, just a patch on each elbow and calf, until this year, when i got my first flare....my legs are currently covered, my arms are very sore, getting patches on my scalp and my back and my torso.

Currently healing a broken toe, and have to have a TB test, and once this is out of the way i'll be starting Stelara.

Looking forward to really getting this under control.

Hi eeloe and a big   to the club. I’m sure there will be lots of our members who have been on stelara that will be able to tell of their experiences and I’m sure you will get some advice as you are now among a group of friendly fellow sufferers
I have not got onto a biological yet and am holding the Psoriasis back with Fumaderm if that ever fails me I guess it will be one of the biological drugs like stelara for me

Hope your tests come back clear and you can start Stelara   I look forward to hearing how it works for you

Really looking forward to getting this under control now, up until May this year i was just dealing with it, but i sustained a knee injury that really made it flare.

I haven't trained Jiu Jitsu properly in months because of all this, i need to get this under control and get my life back ASAP.

The year you were born myself and Mrs Fred went to Ireland for our honeymoon, we still have the piece of Waterford crystal we purchased in our living room.  

Just thought i would throw that fascinating fact in as I saw you are 33 and from Waterford.

Dive on in you will a friendly bunch on Psoriasis Club. I'm the sensible on by the way.

Hello eeloe and welcome to our club.
I'm a long way of being offered a bio and would probably have a minor war on my hands to get it. I'm sure yourTB will come back clean and from what I have seen, the majority of people on it do well. 
Don't forget there is an active off topic area as well and a lot of us can be seen regularly propping up the bar if you ever feel like a general chat.

Looking forward to you getting your life back it made a huge difference to me when I finally got clear. It lifted my self esteem And the vacuum cleaner was pleased to get a rest
