Hi All,

I am on cosentyx at the moment and while it is working amazingly for the psoriasis, it really isnt doing well with the PSA.

Taltz is an option that is on the table however it is also a IL-17 drug.

Was wondering if it would be worth a shot to try it considering they are both IL17 and whether it will have the same effect as the cosentyx.

Has anyone been on both cosentyx and Taltz or any other IL-17?!

My other option is Stelara or Xeljanz.

I don't know what to do and this PSA is killing me at the moment :(

Hope everyone is well!

Mohamad

I'm in a similar situation but the other way around. Coesntyx is working great for the psoriatic arthritis but not so good for the psoriasis. So I'm thinking of switching to Taltz but I don't want the psoriatic arthritis to come back, so it's catch 22 do you try Taltz and it works better or does make no difference.  Confused

I remember mataribot saying Cosentyx is a bit like Stelara and you need more if you are of a heavy build but Taltz works for all weights.

I was on Stelara for just over 6 years, it did work for the psoriatic arthritis but nowhere near as good as Cosentyx. Unfortunately there is no one suit fits all when it comes to treating psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.

It may be worth you asking about Tremfya (guselkumab) it's not available in France yet, but one I'm keeping my eye on for psoriatic arthritis.

I'll watch your updates with interest.

I’m on Taltz - it’s ok but I do notice my psa symptoms about half way between injections so I don’t think it’s all that great for my psa, however it seems to be working well on my skin.
