Hey! I suffer all the time from psoriasis and it's getting worse. Need help and hope for future treatment options.

I'll be stopping by periodically. If you are reading this, I'm sorry about your condition. It sucks.

Hi Padre Welcome to the club I'm sorry you suffer all the time with the disease ..... How long have you had it and is it severe
I can assure you that you have found the best place to discuss your disease and treatments. All of us members are in similar situation to you and we all struggle to be rid of the disease ...

It's a friendly forum so read other members threads and have a read about the various treatments that are available to you here Prescribed Treatments For Psoriasis

Yes psoriasis sucks ...but these days it is manageable ....it might take a while to get the right treatment, but it is possible

Enjoy browsing the forum and shout out if you have any questions Thumb

Thanks for the reply. I have it on my knees, elbows, genitals, scalp and temples..

Also, I have psa in my knees, wrists, elbows and ankles.

I am uninsured, so you can imagine the stuff I have try and to for treatment. But it's at the point now where I must seek a Dr.

Yes it's unfortunate you are uninsured so I guess you are limited with your choices of treatments. But yes you do need to get to a doctor or a dermatologist who can possibly guide you through your options. But obviously money must be a consideration, although some of the treatments are quite cheap.

Have a look through some of the alternatives available just by change of diet or lifestyle, in the Natural treatment section for ideas of what others here use.

Hi Padre and welcome to our Club Wave .
No it's not the best position to be re lack of insurance,  but like Jim has pointed out there are links to some really useful information on this site. It's probably got more real world experiences than anywhere I know. Sadly you are right and there comes a time when everyone with this wretched disease need's to get proper medical assistance. It is the only way you will control it effectively. If you can cope with the various diets suggested that have added some it is worth giving it a go. It would never work for me, I've just no will power. If you need any help, yell out, somebody will be about who may be able to help

Hi Padre, welcome to the club. Shame you don't have the insurance, that really sucks. Like Jim said, look into natural diets and eliminating foodstuff that might worsen your skin condition. For some it works, tho not for all. Hope you are one of those lucky ones. Keep it up for at least three months to see results, if at all.
