Prickly itch post winter

I suffer autoimmune condition psoriasis and psoriasis arthritis. Mostly under control. Have couple of psoriasis patch in scalp all year around. There is one condition that bothers me and this the doctors have not been able to answer why it happens. Post winter as the weather warms I get this prickly itch under the skin. I can feel the prick ever part of the body that is about the sweat. What it could be, how to manage this. Thank you for reading and many things if you provide further inputs.

Hi and welcome to the club. I hope you find lots to read here there is so much information here about the disease and members experiences I'm sure someone will have had the same problem and found a way to combat it
My only suggestion is to get some antihistamine tablets to ease the itch. But check with your doctor in case it's a reaction you are having to topica treatments

It could be prickly heat which is caused by sweating, getting hot etc. Usually you get a rash though. I tried to look up some info but other than trying not to get too hot and wear loose clothing, there isn't really much as it usually clears up in a day or two if you avoid heat and I'm guessing yours lasts longer. I agree with Jim, best to check with your doctor.

Are you seeing a dermatologist ?

If yes then they should be able to help.

If no then you should be seeing one.

The symptoms you describe do sound like what I would call prickly heat or heat bumps. But it's better to get a proper diagnoses.
